Yoga Workout: Firefly (Titibasana) and other arm balances - With Fightmaster Yoga

This Yoga workout to firefly (Titibasana) and other arm balances is an intermediate to advanced class. Thank you to Nanosplanet and The Light Wizard (look for them on Instagram) for requesting Titibasana (firefly) and Mayerasana (peacock). Mitchell Smith also requested "crazy transitions." I did a couple that I think are on the crazy side...although I'd need to practice more to put in additional ones. :-) As always, please pay attention to how your body feels as you move through this practice. Rest whenever you would like to. Push the pause button to rest or to try poses several times. Remember...this is your practice! Make it fun for you. The quote is about staying in the moment:
"Time isn't precious at all, because it is an illusion. What you perceive as precious is not time but the one point that is out of time: the Now. That is precious indeed. The more you are focused on time--past and future--the more you miss the Now, the most precious thing there is." Eckhart Tolle from The Power of Now: A guide to Spiritual Enlightenment. The Power of Now is an excellent book that I highly recommend. Remember that any fear we experience is usually in the future and any anger or resentment we feel is usually from something that happened in the past (even if it's very recent past). When we can stay in the present moment, or the Now, we experience peace. Yoga helps us to stay in the Now.

WELCOME to Fightmaster Yoga, I'm Lesley Fightmaster (yes...that's really my last name). Before yoga, my head would never shut up! I felt anxious and uncomfortable. I stressed about the future and regretted the past. I was wound so tightly, took myself way too seriously and carried the weight of the world on my shoulders. I hardly ever laughed. Morning yoga taught me to breathe, to connect and to find space. My intention for this fitness channel is to help you quiet your mind and get comfortable in your own skin. Let go of the past and the future and get present on your mat. If you're having a rough day, find some relief here. If you're beating yourself up, roll out your mat, push play and know that everything's going to be alright. We can all take ourselves a little too seriously. My free yoga videos will help you to laugh more and stress less. The Fightmaster Yoga community will love you SO MUCH that you won't have any choice but to love yourself. Subscribe now and join the fun!

A Simple But Fast Plan To Lose Weight After 30, 40, 50 ,60
Exercise is always a wonderful addition to a weight loss plan. Without something to keep them motivated, though, many people lose their desire to continue working out. Exercise can be fun if you learn the right ways to do it. The following advice will help you with this.

Music can magically get your body moving. No can resist moving their feet to a catchy beat or singing along to their favorite tunes. Not having music in your workout is almost a crime. Pop in a CD, load your favorite playlist onto your iPod, or listen to the radio and dance the weight away! The rhythms will put the pep in your step that you need to keep going.

Just like a book club, you can start an exercise club. Instead of dreading a workout, having someone to exercise with can make the time sociable and fun! When you have someone to work out with, your exercise routine will seem less lengthy and boring. Friends can help focus your attention on conversation which produces more energetic and prolonged workouts. You might tend to think having someone there would be a distraction. In reality, it can be very beneficial.

Cutting edge technology has made it possible to have fun while working out through playing workout video games. Playing a game gets your mind off of the fact that you are exercising and focuses on the fact that you are having fun. You will find yourself less likely to quit, give up or stop.

Purchase clothing that is comfortable and flattering once you have decided on a fitness and exercise plan. Nothing can be worse than using an old pair of sweats and working out in them. Dressing in cute and attractive workout gear can help motivate you to get moving and continue to work towards your goals.

If you walk the treadmill seven days a week, you will find yourself quickly getting bored. If you are bored with your exercise routine, then you will start trying to avoid it. That is a sure-fire path to failure. You do not want to bore yourself in an exercise routine; make sure to change it often. When you enjoy the workouts you stay much more motivated to complete your fitness and health goals.

Rewarding yourself is a great motivational tool that you can incorporate into your weight loss regimen. Your reward does not have to be big or fancy; it can as simple as a small portion of a delicious dessert or something new to wear. As long as the reward is within reason and something that you want, it will serve as a source of encouragement. Keep your eye on the fitness prize and motivating yourself is key as you keep going.

When many people think of exercising, they think of it like work. But exercise really doesn't need to be a chore. There are many different ways to make your fitness workout interesting and fun. Use the following advice to create your own engaging and effective workout regimen.
