The kettlebell is famous for the swing. People say it's the highest calorie burning exercise out there. It's an excellent exercise to build strength in your core and lower body. The issue many people have when doing the swing is that they don't get in the proper position while using the kettle bell.
Your body should be aligned, yet your hips are inching backward. Your bum should be sticking out. Your knees shouldn't be bent forward too much, since that can cause injury.
Your entire core should be tight, nothing should be loose. While your bum is out, your back should be straight along with the rest of your form. Using the kettlebell that is in front of you, begin swinging it back and forth while inching your hips and bum outward. It shouldn't be your hand that's making the kettle bell swing, but rather the movement that you are doing with your lower body.
The power should be coming from the hips, gluts, and hamstrings. While driving the hips up and down, that should cause the kettle bell to swing.
