All this deliciousness is brought to you by a Want to use additional bananas. When I sent my husband to the store, all I wished was a couple of bananas for a smoothie. Apparently, the bananas looked also very good and he came back with a whole massive bunch of them. No matter how much I like bananas, I can’t consume them this fast and when they are completely ripe, there are only a couple of days left ahead of they grow to be over-ripe. So, I had to make some choices swiftly.
There is no much better way to use up further bananas than a luscious dessert. In the past, I would have made some banana bread or banana muffins but this time, I made the decision to go another way. I always maintain some whipped topping in the freezer and cream cheese in the fridge, and when I realized that I also had a couple of packs of immediate banana pudding, this dessert practically produced itself. Banana bread stands no possibility towards this heavenly banana split treat!
- Crust:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup brown sugar
- one tsp vanilla
- Cheesecake layer:
- 2 eight oz packs of cream cheese
- four oz Great Whip
- ½ cup white granulated sugar
- two bananas
- 1 cup diced strawberries
- 3 bananas to layer
- Pudding:
- 3.4 oz pack of banana cream immediate pudding
- two cups complete milk
- Topping:
- ten oz Great Whip
- sixteen oz strawberries
- Sizzling fudge topping
- Banana Pudding:
- Prepare instantaneous banana pudding according to the package guidelines. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set it totally.
- Crust:
- Lightly grease a 13x9 baking dish.
- In a modest bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and brown sugar. Mix quite well employing a massive fork.
- Spread crumb mixture in the bottom on the baking dish. Spread it close to evenly and press down firmly.
- Cheesecake:
- Beat cream cheese right up until soft and fluffed.
- Add sugar and beat for a couple of minutes.
