Yoga Pose - Marichyasana I & 2



This pose is a deep stretch for the low back, shoulder, hamstrings, and calves. The first of the two shown takes some practice to wrap your arms around (literally). Take it step by step and hold the posture where it is challenging yet not overwhelming for you. The second part of this demonstration is the twisting Marichyasana. It is usually more accessible for first timers. Keep practicing! This pose is dedicated to the father of humanity Marichi and means "ray of light".
