This is a simple recipe for an unsweetened Almond Milk, but you can easily sweeten it (e.g. with dates or maple syrup), make a vanilla or chocolate edition. Oh so lots of possibilities!
Almond Milk
Recipe for homemade, from-scratch Almond Milk. Tremendous silky and improved than retailer-acquired! Include sweeteners, cocoa powder, vanilla, cinnamon or regardless of what you truly feel like!

Serves: four cups
Substances
- 1 cup blanched almonds (you can use typical ones, but the milk will not likely be that white!)
- four cups water (use much less if you want to make it thicker)
- a pinch of salt
Guidelines
- Soak the almonds about night time. Drain and rinse the almonds.
- Put the almonds and the water in ahigh-pace blenderand blend on high for a few of minutes. At this level, you can increase sweeteners, cocoa powder, floor vanilla, if you want!
- Just take a bowl, put the strainer in the bowl and the nut milk bag in the strainer. Then pour the almond milk in the nut milk bag and press out surplus liquid. (You can use the relaxation of the almonds for baking or for this amazing Baked Almond Feta).
- Then fill the milk into an airtight container and retain it in the fridge for up to two-3 days.
