Splits & Backbends Flexibility Flow [Advanced Stretching]



This flexibility training flow is perfect for the splits and backbend lover! Or... if you have a love/hate relationship with them and want to turn it into a full on love affair ;) As always, listen to your body and do what feels good to you: modify accordingly! No warm up is required prior to this sequence, but it always helps. Even a long hot shower will do. Happy stretching, enjoy :)

Be sure to choose exercise clothes that flatter and fit your body perfectly. This is a great motivation for exercise. Check out the many different colors and styles available. Try it on before you buy it, and make sure that it is something that you will feel comfortable and confident in.


Do not do the same thing every day, mix up your routine. You may end up giving up if you are not having fun with your exercise routine. Switch things around and make things different to keep your motivation going strong. This is easily done by changing types of music or doing a new routine. If you stay up to date with new workouts and try different activities, you can have fun while exercising.


Treating yourself to something special when you hit an exercise milestone is a terrific idea and one that helps keep your enthusiasm high. You don't have to give yourself a big treat. You could just have a small serving of dessert, or even better, buy yourself something nice to wear! Whatever you pick as your reward, pick something that is affordable and that you will enjoy. It is counter-productive to pick a reward you can't afford or isn't readily available. It is important to keep yourself motivated to meet your weight loss goals.


Working out is not a punishment and should not be viewed as one! Get into the mindset that workouts are fun and you will start to joyfully look forward to them. Try this simple ideas to put some excitement into your exercise!
