In today's video, I share with you one of the most simple, yet most popular back extension, chest opening exercises I've used in my Pilates classes and videos. I originally designed this exercise for new mothers to use during their early postpartum weeks and months, but came to realize that it is a powerful exercise for many, many more.
It's simplicity makes it accessible and comfortable for those healing or for those just needing to do a simple feel-good, beneficial and realigning exercise after a long day.
Watch this short video and learn the ins and outs of this lovely little exercise I call the Supine Chest Opener, and I hope that you add it to your exercise routine today!

Doing the same exercises every day leads to boredom, and it is easy to get discouraged. Therefore, it is important that you switch your exercise routine up. An example would be if you're always exercising on a treadmill to consider going for a run instead. It is important to try more than one exercise routine.
